Minor Works, an electronic journal of the arts, was launched in the spring of 2026. This is the latest in a series of projects that have included “Knowing More About Nothing” (an online journal that ran from 2022-2024), “KMAN 92.5 Tapes” (the music label I ran from 2018-2022), and “Roughage” (a series of music salons I held in various locations around LA from 2018-2019).
Minor Works is a journal that will be published quarterly, primarily online. It will feature writing (fiction, poetry, essays, etc.), interviews, reviews, mixes, audio / video, and anything else that feels right.
I came up with the idea of Minor Works as a space where people could share writing and other forms of creative expression in a more low-key, "web 1.0" way. In other words, a modest experiment in literary / artistic community as an alternative to social media.
